Comments: Tila had a very successful career in college at the University of Washington. After getting drafted as a junior in college, he decided to pass up on pro ball to play out his last season at UW…it proved to be a great move as his younger brother, Simi, joined him on the squad. Tila also signed after his senior year with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was a slick fielding middle infielder with a canon of an arm. His discipline at the plate allowed him to have a great on base percentage to set the table for the rest of the hitters to drive in some runs.
