Comments: Robert was a slick fielding and agile middle infielder. He attended Samoana High School and graduated from Spring Arbor University in Michigan along with several other players from American Samoa. In 2000, he was chosen to play 2nd base for a USA All-Star team that competed in Europe and then flew to California to train for the upcoming season. He initially signed with the Long Beach Breakers, but decided to play in the Southeastern League with Stanley Filiaga and Ted Gebauer, also from Spring Arbor University. Robert has always had a knack for the game and is a great leader on and off the field.
